The verify identity is not working at the beginning of the game at your Base of Operations during the “Make contact with Division Agent Faye Lau” Objective. Sadly any icy / snowy ground in front of the Base entrance will cause you to fall under the map again and again, so you are forced to restart the game to play again.
Then the game will notify you will be respawned in a few seconds due to you appearing “Outside playable area”. Glitch Solution: You’ll fall until you end up standing under the city map.
